    Golf trip to Ireland
Does anyone have any experience at heading to Ireland on a solo golf trip? I was thinking about heading over for around two weeks in late August/early September to travel around the small towns to golf and see the country.

I know that major golfing destination in southwest Ireland but has anyone has been to North West Ireland and has play the tops course in the area like Enniscrone, Ballyliffin, County Sligo and Rosapenna?

Any thoughts on going solo to Ireland and what area I should visit would be greatly appreciated.
