Actually, if you read the final paragraph of the article I attempt to defend Wie. I do not attempt to be mean, just to state the facts.

Wie's infraction cost her 4th place in the tournament. There were several times that she should have asked a rules official for assistance but refused, relying upon her own knowledge to get by.

Hopefully she will never forget this incident.

This article is MEAN! I think she is doing a wonderful job in fact!! We should all be proud for her!! You know everywhere people say she is even BETTER thank Tiger Woods! She is only 15 yrs old, geesh!

I didn't make Wie out to be stupid. I merely pointed out that her inexperience is causing her to make amateurish errors.

Perhaps she's moving on too quickly.

I think that people shouldn't be so hard on Michelle. Yes it is true that she is young, but she is going to make mistakes like everyone else. There isn't one person on this earth that knows everything, not even you. You are probably writing about what you heard on the golf channel. You make her out to be stupid when, but she is the farthest thing from it. She has obviously done something right, because she is living her dream and you are sitting at home waiting for her to make a mistake so you can try to exploit it. You made a mistake by trying to act as if you know what you are talking about.
