Tiger has the most exceptional athletic swing by anyone who has ever played the game. It has all the athleticism, fearlessness and poetic motion that I am sure any golfer who has ever played the game has ever seen to date. I just hope he continues giving back to the game what the game has given him and not only to minorities but to all.

As a competitive bicyclist, I am impressed in the similarity with which Tiger seems to play a tournament and that of a champion in a classic race.

He seems to have the ability to ride with the pack and mark the riders who are a threat to his victory - only summoning the power to go if they attack him.

Yet when the conditions present themselves, he can take a flier and run away with the race.

personally, i do not mind seeing the same person wins major events, provided he/she does it like tiger, who makes history each time he wins. it is extremely satisfying to see athletes like him break world records, showing us by example how an ordinary human being with dedication, determination and humility can achieve so much.

he analyzes continuously his game, identifies his weaknesses and through sheer hardwork and determination, in spite of all the criticisms he gets all around sticks to his plan and does his job. that is the reason he is successful and gets rewarded. he deserves the admiration of every one of us.

for me, he can go on winning every event, provided he remains humble and well grounded. may god give him the strength to continue his pursuit for excellence.

I guess I expected Woods to come out firing, but the show he put on was ridiculous! There is no doubt who the greatest player ever to play the game is :) Is it time for the great debate?

Drew, I don't think Jonathan was belittling Tiger Woods. He was just saying "this is what it would take to beat him today."

I understand the importance of a new champion. Yes, it would be great to see someone else on top. While Tiger is still one of the best golfers we have seen in some time. Why take that away from him. If he isn't pressed why should he push harder. Why make a misstake while your on top. If he is pressed let him show you what he can do. If he loses, it does not mean that he is not the best. Someone just had a better day. You know this so why belittle such a great player.

"Woods can lose" is nearly the equivalent of saying, well, there is no other equivalent in sports. Perhaps the nearest is one we get from football: "any given Sunday."
