Different set of 80s influences! :-)

I literally just finished listening to this song a few minutes ago! I love their new stuff.

Loving this album - a definite return to their melodic roots, I wasn't a fan of the fake tough guy stuff they were writing for a few albums.

Russtopher have you listened to Porcupine Tree? They are one of my favorite progressive style bands.

Absolutely. "Deadwing" is probably my favorite album of theirs, and this my favorite song:

Loooooove P-Tree. Seen them about five times. Haven't seen them since the Deadwing tour though. Been too long.

I think I saw them, Kings X, and Extreme within a 48 hour period once. It was quite the prog-rock adventure.

"Stars Die" for me. So perfect.

I'm guessing you guys didn't get a lot of South African ethno-pop from the 80s, so here's some. :-)

Those listening to Porcupine Tree has probably heard Steven's solo albums. My favorite is the last, The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories).

I've seen PT live three times and Steven Wilson one time. Watching Raven live was amazing.
