I'm in Minnesota again for the winter
I'm in Minnesota again for the winter

I didn't come for ice fishin', I didn't come for duck huntin'
I'm not Scandinavian or in search of Paul Bunyan

I came for the taper
I came for the tapeworm
well, I came to get better

I'm in Minnesota again for the winter
The thought of ten thousand lakes makes me feel smaller

I didn't come for ice fishin', I didn't come for duck huntin'
I'm not Scandinavian or in search of Paul Bunyan
I'm no fan of the vikings or sub-zero windchills
or drifts bigger than buildings or running on treadmills
but i'm optimistic, but i'm optimistic
cause I'm feelin lucky

I'm in Minnesota again for the winter
The thought of ten thousand lakes makes me feel smaller
The thought of ten thousand lakes makes me feel...
Well, it makes me feel weaker

The Band

Love this song!

Edit* THIS ONE TOO!!!!!!

For those who have never watched Scorsese's "The Last Waltz", I can't recommend it enough. Amazing tribute to one of Canada's greatest contribution to music and the list of guest artists is mind blowingly good.

Another one from Martin Scorsese's The Last Waltz. Seriously, if you've never seen this movie and you love music, see it NOW!

Ernest, this is great. Thanks for posting. Probably listened to this five times already. :-)

Frank Sinatra. My pregame music, calms me down.

I think if the Replacements and Pavement had a baby, it would sound like this.

Warm Love

@Ernest Jones Love it! Coincidentally, I listened to Tupelo Honey last night for the first time on my ride home as I scoured Sirius XM for Van Morrison songs. I eventually found that one. Good tune!
