Re: Favorite Beer?

I've got lots of beers I really like.

But if forced to pick just one I will take Sierra Nevada Pale Ale just because it is so consistently excellent and satisfying.

Re: Favorite Beer?

There is a micro brewery in North Jersey called Criket Hill ive become fond of. Im not really sure if the beer is actually any better or not, but damn that stuff is fresh..

No, I didn't this year actually. I usually enjoy it, but the amount of dry-hopping usually makes it a little more intense than I prefer.

Re: Favorite Beer?

Bell's Amber Ale out of Battle Creek, Michigan...

Re: Favorite Beer?

Rogue American Amber and Deschutes Black Butte Porter.

Of course the Christmas/Holiday beers are the best! Pyramid Snowcap, Deschutes Jubelale and Full Sail Wassail are my favorites. Sierra Nevada Celebration doesn't have the full body of those three.

This is a thread that rates 2 Mugs Up!

Two incredibly worthy brews, indeed. But speaking of Rogue, how could I forget???

If there is a beer that comes close to taking SNPA's place in my heart, it is the incredible Dead Guy:

Re: Favorite Beer?

For me it has to be a Sam Adams Boston Lager. Give me a six pack of Boston Lager and a good stogie and I'm good for the night.

Re: Favorite Beer?

Great Lakes Brewing is definitely my favorite of all breweries. Has anyone in here had GLBC Beer?

Sure have and I was just about to post that they are one of my favorite... I think the best two are Burning River and Edmund Fitzgerald.

My favorite large brewery everyday type beer... Labatts

another good beer to have at the bar... Black and Tan

Re: Favorite Beer?

My beer of regularity is Miller Lite.
When I'm in the mood for a micro, I like one of the choices from this local microbrew.
Occasionally I have a Guinness.

Re: Favorite Beer?

I usually drink Coors Light. If I'm not drinking Coors Light, then it's Blue Moon, Guinness, or occasionally Sam Adams. Every once in a while, I'll try something new when I feel like it.

Re: Favorite Beer?

Don't really drink much anymore, but use to enjoy a few Abita Purple Haze on tap from time to time.
