Tbh I can see why a lot of people could 'hate' beer and I believe a lot of people say they love beer just too impress the lads, in fact I don't think beer really tastes nice at all, its disgusting when its warm and leaves an aftertaste.

People have differing tastes obviously and some people will love the taste of beer, but its not for everyone and that's something we have to understand, I drink a lot at parties but I don't drink anything I do not like, regardless of who it would impress (why should it be something that impresses people anyway?)

Because I dont like the taste of it? Beer just does not taste good to me at all. And since I dont drink beer, why cant I have a drink with alcohol in it?

In my refrigerator right now, I have eight bottles remaining in a twelve pack of Sam Adams Boston Lager, a half-liter bottle of Tucher Hefe-weizen, an Ayinger Celebrator, two old bottles of Celis White I picked up while visiting family in Illinois over the winter, and a can of Wittekerke Belgian white. And yet, there's nothing I'd like more than a Victory Prima Pils.

Liking beer doesn't impress anyone. Unless maybe you're 13???

I truely enjoy the taste of beer. I could care less if it was alcoholic.

Some people like the taste of coffee. I can't stand it.

I really enjoy Dogfish Head Brewery from Delaware. Interesting selection of craft brewed stuff too...

They've an alehouse not far from me where you can get the stuff on tap.

In Heat Wheat Ale? My mistake...Flying Dog. But yes, I've had Dogfish Head before. Very good.

I live in Portland Oregon, which has the most micro brews in the coutry and even with that I still go back to the old tried and true, Widmere Hefewsien (sp) with a lemon wedge. I also quite like Red Hook Rye, but its hard to find.

When I first moved up here in 87 it took a lot to get me out of the NW b/c I couldn't find good miro brew(s) or coffee anywhere else, well Europe, but that was way too expensive just for a beer or coffee.

I have been enjoying Magic Hat #9 all Summer after my golf league. I picked up a 6 of Magic Hat Hocus Pocus the other night and it was good, but not as good as #9.
