I was glued to the masters, and at the beginning of the week i was sure i wanted tiger to win. However at the end of the week i felt he didnt deserve to make the top 10 let alone finish second.

Also every interview after, he said "i was unlucky out there, my putts just didnt go in", i kept thinking, your the magic one, if your round can be not ruined but seriously affected by unlucky putts how the hell am i meant to deal with it.

Anyone else have any opinions about how he played/reasoned.

Are you writing a thesis on Tiger? jk

Here it is, I do not think Tiger will win another tourney this year. I think he is in the process of going thru swing changes.

There is no inside knowledge to the above statement, while most are watching the big break or golf channel, I am watching my name is earl and the office..

This is merely a thought, could be wrong. I have been before.

I finally watched the full final round on tape and Tiger might have at worst been in a playoff and at best with the pressure he could have put on Immelman, who knows might have won had he not ahmmm-uhmmm (clearing throat) choked. Although he wasn't the only one - everybody but Immelman was falling apart on the back 9 on Sunday. Tiger should have birdied 13, parred 14 (not bogeyed) and birdied 15 and he would have gone to a playoff. That putt on 13 must have really gotten to him - he didn't seem like himself for some reason. Immelman deserved to win, he had a heck of a week but it's amazing that even when Tiger isn't at his best with the flatstick, he still came in second.

Tiger shot even par. Trevor shot 75.

Tiger didn't choke - he just didn't hole any putts. He hit the ball as well as he ever has at Augusta (according to several people who would know).

Sure, but the problem is you're assuming that Trevor does the same things, including brain fart on 16 to yank a ball in the H2O. It may not have happened like that.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

while I enjoy watching Tiger play the game of Golf, I'm in no way a huge follower of his, but I'm not going to take everything he says to heart either, he simply wasn't putting good all weekend and it more then likely cost him the Tourney imo....and weather you agree with it or not, he was unlucky sort of say in that department (putting that is).....not a big deal imho with his comments

Just further proof that Tiger manages his non-A-game better than anyone. Putts weren't falling, irons going off-target here and there, drives a little wayward...he keeps himself in every hole, in every round, in every tournament, even the biggest. I felt like all I saw was his being displeased with his shots, yet he had a chance at the end with just a couple more fallen putts.

When he loses, I watch. When he wins, I watch. Even if he's winning twenty straight, I'll watch, and I learn every time.

Nothing in the swing is done at the expense of balance.

That's true - I'm just thinking of the pressure Trevor would have felt had Tiger birdied 13, etc. although no one really knows how Trevor would have reacted.
