So all of us talk about clubs, shafts, grips, gloves, balls.
I want to know what everyone thinks about shoes.
I have just about 180 pairs of sneakers.
Now that I'm fully addicted to this game, I've found myself starting a little
golf shoe collection, some of which are extremely comfortable.

So here's the question, what's the most comfortable shoe that you've tried?
Make & model?
What did you like about it?
What did you hate about it?

The most comfortable shoe I have:
Adidas 360 Tour II
Likes: cushion, support, overall feel
dislikes: after 6 or 7 holes of walking, the seam near the 1st lace starts to push into your lower ankle.

or

Both are the great, but if I had to pick I would go with the adidas. Altough for guys that have trouble with weight transfer I would recommend the Nikes. I have heard that they were designed with weight transfer in mind...

I really like my DryJoys (the saddle ones with pods, or whatever you call them) They are comfortable and relatively inexpensive. I walk my course (6,800 yards), so I definitely need a comfortable shoe, and this fits the bill.

Love the Adidas 360. Keeps me dry no matter what, and really comfortable. Bit tight in the front maybe, but normally gets better after some use.

My favourite so far is the Nike SP-6 Border

http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-NIKE-SP-6-BOR...QQcmdZViewItem

They were a bit stiff around the ankle at first but moulded so well to my feet and have great cushioning with the Zoom Air and my favourite looking shoe so far.

I also picked up a pair of the MyJoys in the Dryjoys Pods Tech model and they've been quite good so far in the house but haven't been able to play yet (Massive snowstorm, gotta love Canada).

I originally had a pair of Adidas 360's and wanted to like them soooo bad cause I loved the look and the tech of the shoe but wearing them around the house for a couple of weeks they just never felt right and the 360 wrap started to kill the outside of my foot.

In Ozone blue/argyle bag:

5 wood: G5 with grafalloy prolaunch blue

I'm going to have to go with Ecco. I have the footjoy, ecco, nike, and addidas. Given every model feels different from the classics to the powerbands.

Ecco are my most comfortable shoes.

I have a wide array of shoes in the garage and I won't mention the ones I don't like. My favorite pair is the Nike Air Max Dual D (I think that is what they are called). They are the running/cross training style with spikes. They are great for walking the course or the second 18 of a 36 hole day. I also have the Footjoy Dryjoy Pro, and the GFII. Both are comfortable, but I usually only wear them with pants or in wet conditions.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I felt the same way..but after using them once on the course...it was HEAVEN

I despretley want to get a pair of eccos, I've tried them on in the store and they feel awsome but I wear "wide" and they don't make wide sizes. They are border line being to tight. How much do they stretch out/break in? Has anyone else that wears wide tried them before?

I put on some Eccos, and while the heel was comfortable - there was a huge glaring problem..

When I walked, the toe box would fold badly, and pinch the toes of my foot. I didn't think this was something that would break in, so I forego'd these shoes.

I'm wearing Adidas AD Comforts now, and they're just that. Extremely comfortable. They're wearing out though, so I'm looking around a little bit.
