I am visiting Las Vegas again in August and I want to get in a great golf experience. Last year, I played at Las Vegas National, although I was a little too drunk to remember much of it. This year I am going to dedicate an entire day to golf and enjoy every second of it. I have researched a few of what I believe are the nicest course around (excluding the $500 overpriced hotel courses). If you know of any other please post them as well.
What I play:
Cleveland HiBore XLS 9.5 Fujikura Stiff flex | Titleist 735.cm Stainless Steel True Temper S300 3-PW | Titleist Vokey GW 52 | Cleveland 588 SW 56 | Titleist Vokey LW 60 | Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless | Titleist Pro V1x

I have played LVN several times. It is easy to get on.

Try Angel Park - The Palm Course.

Pray the wind does not blow.

Yes, that thread actually inspired my poll. I have narrowed it down to the listed courses as the best in my opinion. I haven't played any of them and I wanted to hear reviews from players who have played them. Sorry for the confusion

I was there about a month ago and played Revere - Lexington and I really enjoyed that course and its pretty close to the strip. Again it really depends on where you stay so check your options and when i was there i think there were a lot of course doing maintenance so check that as well

Royal Links is an absolutely amazing golf course. Its modeled after some excellent European holes and it does a great job at remaking them. Great shape, you can get a caddie if you like. I HIGHY recommend it, as he did wonder's for our group and was always on top of where to hit it, how to hit it, and he knew where everybody's ball was, even if you didn't. Great course!

In The Bag:

Driver: R7 SuperQuad 460 9.5
3 Wood: G5 w/ Graffaloy Pro Launch Stiff
3-PW: MP60's Wedges: Black Pearl 52, 56, 60Putter: White Hot #4Ball: Pro V1

If you have a car and don't mind a 90 minute drive, go up to Mesquite and play Wolf Creek. If you are truly looking for an "experience", it is like nothing you've seen before. I've played Reflection Bay and wasn't very impressed with it for the price (played in August and it was a bit burnt out). I haven't played any of the other ones on the list, but haven't heard good things about Bali Hai from a co-worker who played it (he swears by Rhodes Ranch).

Here's a link to Wolf Creek

Good recommendation on Wolf Creek. Beautiful, albeit very very challenging golf course. Definitely worth the hour drive!

I really like Bear's Best a lot. It's a lot of fun and offers some great views of the valley. Bali Hai is also nice. I just drove by a hour ago and it looks to be in great shape. TPC Canyons is also a fun course. You really can't go wrong with any of the above.

Driver: FT5 Tour 9.5*
3 Wood: FT Tour 15*
Irons: X-Tour 3-PW
Wedges: Vokey Spin Milled 52*, 56*, 60*
Putter: Custom Shop Studio Stainless Newport 2

Bali Hai and Paiute are popular around here, but I think they are overrated and overpriced. I tend to stick to local henderson courses (it's a suburb of vegas about 15minutes from strip).

Few of my favorites would be

Legacy http://www.thelegacygc.com $90/round but they always have early twighlight ($55/round)

Revere @ Anthem http://www.reveregolf.com $90-$125/round (cheaper after 12pm)

Black Mountain http://golfblackmountain.com $75/round

Desert Willow http://www.desertwillowlasvegas.com/ (par 3/Par 4 only) $40/round

These are all reasonably priced and very nice courses. If you're looking for a quick 18, I suggest Desert Willow. It's the best Par 3/Par 4 course out here and perfect for working on short game.
