Stiff shafts can someone explain it to me?

I have a pretty fast swing speed, about 105-115. Drives average between 270 and 320. I'm in the market for a new driver and am really confused at all the shaft options out there. I slice a decent amount (inconsistent though) so combined with my swing speed I'm thinking I need a stiff shaft. Can someone help me out in picking a shaft? What is confusing is the number of stiff shafts out there even stock.

For example: Callaway X460 - I've seen them configured with the following shafts:

Callaway Fujikura
Fujikura Tour Platfo
Grafalloy Prolaunch
Aldila NV Green (65-S)
Aldila NVS (65-S)

So this is just one club with 5 different stiff shafts to pick from at the same price point.

Also should I be looking at an X-Stiff instead of regular stiff?

What's all this high kick low kick stuff about too?

Unfortunately, there are no standards for shaft flex. A "stiff" in one shaft may be an R or an X in other shafts. A more accurate gauge might be frequency, measured in cpm.

Kick point is where the shaft is designed to flex. A low kick produces a higher flight, a high kick point produces a lower flight.

The best way to determine the right shaft/head combo for you is either a good clubfitter or just demoing all of the combinations you find interesting.

I have the Aldila NVS 65 S .350 on my calloway X460 Tour 10.5 Degree and i love it, i gained 15 yards and hit the ball dead straight

Go with a stiff shaft man. Hit it long and straight. I prefer getting a proforce v2 66 or 76 gram. 76 might be a little heavy but that can give the shaft more whip and gain an extra 10-20 yards, but less accurate.

      Nothing is assured and lots of talented young athletes in many sports fail to achieve greatness. as was said, injuries, growth, lots of things can come into play, And let’s let honest, over the years a few players have been branded “The Next Tiger Woods” and yet there is only 1 Tiger Woods. My initial point was if he can do a great breakout it may capture the attention of a new generation.  Back in the 70s it was Secretariat in horse racing, we also had Jordan in basketball and let’s not forget Tiger for golf.  Stories get people interested and I think golf needs a new story. I will pull for him and hope it works out but there are so many factors that come into play you just do not know, But I can hope.
