e5 has more feel and I think it spins more. Bridgestone makes some good balls!

Taylormade V Steel 3 and 5 wood

Bridgestone J33 R Hybrid 21* NV Shaft

I have tried them both and like the NXTs better so far. They both seem to feel and spin about the same for me, but for whatever reason I've had better results with the NXTs. But both are very good mid-priced balls. Buy a sleeve of each and swing away.

In myBagBoy Revolver: HiBore XL 10.5° ⢠HiBore 3W ⢠Halo 2i, 3i & 4i
MX900 5-PW ⢠MP-R 52-07° & 58-10° ⢠Studio Select Squareback 1

Carl Spackler: This is a hybrid. This is a cross of Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. The amazing stuff...

Ive been switching back and forth between the e5+ and the nxt tour for about 6 weeks now. This is what ive found.

-The e5 is not as good green side as the nxt tour is. They're close, but the nxt is better. It feels better on chips and putts than the e5. The cover on the nxt tour feels softer to me.

-The e5 is longer for me with both woods and irons, and is more durable than the nxt is. Ive flat-spotted the dimple ridges on nxt tours with one good wedge shot much like the prov1x - the ball i used to play last season. Ive gotten through an entire round with an e5 with no noticeable wear.

-The e5 seems better on windy days ive found. I get a more boring tragetory with the e5,as well. The nxt tour can balloon in high winds with my irons if I dont hit down properly.

-Im not sure of the compressions between the two, but im guessing the e5 is a higher compression ball.

All and all, i say its push between the two. They're equal balls that just perform in slightly different ways. Im comfortable playing either of them anytime. It will come down to personal preference with the decison to play either one.

From tee to green, I like the NXT tour better than the e5+. But I dont like the NXT tour when I putt. In fact, I dont think I have made anything over 10 feet with an NXT tour. I find it very hard to judge distance on my putts with it. e5+ wins hands down in that aspect.

I think these two balls are very comparable. The Bridgestone series balls are pretty nice. If you can get teh e5 or e6 cheaper than the NXT, why not use those?
