(Almost) Weekly Scorecard License Winners

Here's the thread where I will post the free Scorecard licenses I've talked about .

Since everyone else that responded there seems to have a license already, Dent wins the first free license. Dent, if you would email me your name and email address, I'll ship a license off to you.

The next free license will be given to the person who posts the best comment on our next podcast - episode 091 - as of about Friday of next week. That'll give you a few days (Wednesday, Thursday) to listen to the podcast and respond.

Please, no other responses in this thread. I'd like to keep it primarily for announcing winners and the terms of the next contest. In the future, if "winners" already have a copy of Scorecard, they can nominate someone else or just let the license fall back to the second-place finisher or something. We'll see how it shakes out.

I guess nobody else wanted a free license. The only comment the podcast received was from someone who is not a member of the forum. Would have been an easy win, too.

Perhaps I'll find a picture or something and have a caption contest. I dunno. Again, subscribe to this thread so you get notifications when I update it.

Nobody won the "guess the scores" contest I held during the final round live blog , but I did say I'd give away a license to whomever made the best comment. I've decided that the winner is (drumroll here.... and since we can't do that, I've used a spoiler instead, ha ha ha ):

It was close, but rudygu edges everyone else out. cbe and The Gill were in the running, and their efforts today will not be forgotten in coming weeks. I've emailed rudygu already about his license. Rudygu won as much for his quick wit as well as the number of comments he posted. Quantity and quality just edge out quality.


P.S. If you're quick, you can win a license if you read the italicized stuff on today's (the playoff's) live blog entry .
