On a 18 hole, par 3 course :)

The local 18 hole par 3 course opened recently and it was in great shape. With exception of the first two holes, I was in the zone. I know a 76 is not very good on a par 54 course (+22) but I hit some very nice shots, my putting could have been better though.

heh the title caught my attention too!

since you're a beginner... Get Hogan's 5 Lessons and if you work hard, in 6 months you'll be scoring 76 on a standard 18 holes par 72 coarse

Given it's one of your first times playing, by pigeonholes I know that you're making your fair share of bogeys, and I'm going to guess there are some pars in there too. Getting used to seeing low numbers on your card and making putts for par - or knowing what it feels like to have a look at birdie - will certainly help you shoot low scores on a regulation course.

Congrats on the +22. It took me a good dozen or more visits to a par-54 to shoot that low - and the longest hole was 135 yards!

I am definitely addicted lol. This was my 3rd time out. My first two times on full courses were 105 each time and then a 76 on the par 3 course.

In total, I made 5-6 pars and zero birdies but came close a few times. I was impressed I was sticking the ball on the green from the tee. It was also a minor victory when I beat my playing partner who has been golfing for 3 years. :)
