OK... so there are two putting swings:
Straight back/straight through
Arced

I normally use a mallet (face balanced) and do a SBST stroke. The ball is pretty much straight below my eyes. I find that when I use my SeeMore (toe weighted) I more naturally put the ball a little outside my eyes.

Is this just me or do you'all experience the same thing?

Right now i have a habbit of positioning the ball at the toe of the club, I don't even get good contact but it still goes towards my target, its a habbit now, and I'm trying to get the ball back to the centre because When i get my new putter I can putt off the toe.

Those SeeMores seem like awesome clubs. Very basic, yes, but I adored the grips on them when I tried them out, and they seemed deadly with an arced stroke. I am more comfortabe with a straight stroke right now so I had to put a little extra work into the stroke. I naturally keep the ball right under my eyes - I can't read the line otherwise.

Having the ball right under my eyes works best for me, and right between my feet. I feel then i can play brakes much better and get a better sence of judging the right power for my putter swing.

This is exactly what I do. I am a straight through swinger also. I get the most centered hits this way. Only down fall for me is when I do happen to hit the toe, my putts are no where close.

I also putt what feels straight back straight thru but i know in reality there is a slight arc. I putted for awhile with my eyes well outside my ball (not common). I putted well this way actually, especially under 10 feet. But I want to hole more 15+ footers so I need to putt with my eyes over the ball.

What do you mean by outside your eyes? Do you mean from a face on view the ball is either forward or backward of your eyes? or Do you mean from a downline view the ball is not directly under your eyes? or both?

Below is a picture of what the apparent address position of the majority of pros is according to reseach that ModelGolf/CompuSport conducted many, many years ago.

I changed my entire putting setup this weekend and it did wonders for me. Only one 3-putt and several 1-putts with 2-putts lagging to tap-in range.

I moved the ball forward to even with the inside of my left foot, open stance, get the handle of the club out over the ball a little (slight forward press, if you will) and moved to a straight-back/straight-through stroke. My distance control has improved dramatically and my number of solid contact putts jumped also.
