At my home couse http://www.boundaryoak.com/golf/prot...rse/course.htm

i usually shoot in the mid 80's consistently. Im 13 years old and i have seemed to have grooved a pretty good swing.

It seems that i woke up last Saturday with a totally diffferent swing.

My backswing is way too much outside and its super flat as i bring it back.

I am coming over the top and when i play my irons.
i slice or duck hook my drives and i am pulling my irons way left of the target.

I will try to get a swing video up but i am currently going to the range and trying to work some things out.

Wish me luck

ANy quick tips?

Don't get it stuck in your head bud, that will help lots and as for your sudden change, perhaps you pulled a muscle or slept wrong and your muscles were feeling comfortabe that day.

Main challenge of golf is consistancy

What makes you think that your swing is drastically different? Often people's decent swings aren't too far from their mishits. Are other people telling you that you are taking it outside, flat, are over the top? Many times I hear those phrases voiced by observers that don't have a good understanding of the swing. I wouldn't advise making swing changes until you see your swing on video. If you want to work on something that isn't likely to make your swing worse I recommend focusing on your setup fundimentals (make sure your grip, posture, alignment, balance, and ball position are sound).

Wheree should my backswing be?

What part of your backswing? Backswing positions can vary to a degree (even among the pros). My recommendation is to look at a handful of tour pros that you like, and if the majority of the pros you choose share a similar position then that is probably a good general area to model.

To start you could look at the positions of the pros in the pictures linked below: http://www.swingacademy.com/forums/y...olf-Swing.aspx (Don't worry about what is written on the page, and instead direct your focus to the images.)

Good to hear. I would really recommend taking a lesson with a local pro if you ever fall into a slump. This will be a good refresher on what you are supposed to be doing, and you can use the recommendations in the future when you have some problems. For your hook in the future, think of driving a vehicle. Turning the steering wheel hard left will cause a hook. Try and dial in the proper amount of "turning" and push your hands out at contact, and you should be good.

I personally think you probably grew an inch or two overnight and you just weren't used to your suddenly longer body...

yeah sometimes i'm like that eh. you just feel weird and then you hit 1 bad shot. then you say wtf! and you hit it again and it happens again. i just try to stop hitting, take a break hit some putts whatever then come back later and try again. golf relies heavily on confidence, if you lose that confidence with 3 bad shots on the range, it takes a while to get it back.
