Golf Channel On Demand - has it been cancelled?

Time Warner Cable in New York no longer carrying Golf Channel On Demand. what gives? Love that channel.

I still see it on my Directv box.

Check under Sports On Demand.

They switched it a couple of weeks ago on my local Bright House service.

Once you hit Sports On Demand, then scroll across the bottom until you hit Gol Channel.

Directv doesnt have OnDemand Channels.

I ran across this thread while searching for something else.

They aren't publicizing it because it's still in beta, but DirecTV does have on-demand for some subscribers. You have to have a certain model DVR (somethin'-somethin' 20, I think) and a high speed internet connection with a router. It's been active since last fall for some, but my area only got it around February. Frankly, I rarely use it. Not much on there worth watching. I'm not sure if it's the same "on demand" that cable users get. EDIT: It's available nationwide now: http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global...setId=P4760026

I ran across this thread while searching for something else.

If you have Directv you have to have the HR20 or HR21 in order to have VOD (Video-On-Demand). I like the programming they have on it. Not a bunch of stuff but enough instructional shows and tidbits. They change them out once a month so they don't get stale.
