She hinted that you may see her compete at the U.S. Womens' Open again, but it seems like for the most part she has her heart set on being a wife and a mother.

This person has defined her life through competition in general and golf in particular. She might be able to move on to other things, but I doubt she can stay away from the game. She does have some pinched nerve issue, but that does not keep were from contending.

She's still good enough and young enough to collect a few more wins. I can't see her in the kitchen on Sunday afternoon watching the other girls play on TV.

She did say that theres a chance she will do a few tournaments here and there, but for the most part she has said that she is looking foreward to being a wife and a mother.
If thats what makes her happy, I wish her all the luck in the world.

I get the impression that she really wants her marriage to work, and that taking some time off to focus on her personal life is important to her.

I don't think she's gone forever. I think she'll come back after a few years. But, she'll probably stay away from tourneys for at least a bit.

Then again, after a shot like that 18th will make you want to get back out there, no?

If there was any truth to what she said when she was interviewed after her round at the womens open, then she pretty much said she could possibly see herself playing in the open if she was going to come back at some point.

So while I doubt she will return the the tour fulltime, I would almost bet on her returning for a handfull of tournaments in a few years time.
