What is the worst golf gift you have ever received? Not the ones like Golf Artwork, but something that someone gave you, that they really thought you could use on the course. Here are a few of mine received over the last few months.
1. Most of our circle of friends all have golf carts, because of the fact that we live in a golf community. So one of our friends, took our cart and had BLINKERS INSTALLED ON IT. Expensive and not necessary. S (in return, we put chrome spinner hubcaps on theirs, so we are even)
2. A gift certificate to a driving range that is 2 hours away.
3. "The amazing golf ball finding sunglasses". They dont work.
4. Glow in the dark golf balls.

All in all, we are thankful for everything, but these stood out.

My dad got this rangefinder that's supposed to tell you distances, but it's a real cheap one and it didn't even work right, lol. It cost like 50 bucks for the person who got it for him, but it's so cheap looking, ahhaha.

My wife bought me the full 4-pack set of Brush-Tees for Father's Day a couple of years ago, after she saw an infomercial on The Golf Channel. They actually work OK...but I just can't bring myself to use them.

Worst golf gift i've ever got has to be when i got a pull cart for my juniors clubs back when i was a wee lad. Too bad the bag was to small for the cart! and fell apart when i tried assemblying the lock mechinizim. I guess dollarama had a good sale on them... yeesh

Some of the classics Ive received over the years,
Scorecard Holder "with built in counter facility"
scorecard holder "with pencil"
scorecard holder "real leather"
scorecard holder "with tee holder"
scorecard holder "fits easily into your bag" (the mind boggles on that one)

All the above from the Mother in Law, wonder what Im going to get this year?

The Mrs brought me a chipping net with some plastic balls (so I wouldnt damage the flowers in the garden)

A golfer on a stick.Has anyone else got one of these? Its a four inch high figure on a stick with a trigger device that makes the figure hit a little ball. It comes complete with bits of fairway and putting greens, interchangable clubs and full instructions of how to set up your course. Although the box is opened (curiosity) it has never been used will accept any reasonable offer,(rrp £80) Ill throw in a "free" automatic scorecard too just in case you cant count up to 6

The worst was this worthless stattracker handheld thing. It came with software, that appeared to be written by a 14 year old with a student copy of Microsoft Visual Basic. Just terrible and probably not a cheap gift either.

The person who got me this meant me well, so I give you the PUTTER POTTY just to continue the thread without malice to the gift giver. She gave it to me on a lark.

The putter potty is a golf putting mat you us while on the john. Thats right. While doing your business on the john, you get to sink a put.

BTW: I have not used it. (yet.)

.
.

Yeah, a lot of pressure. Rise above it. Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness energy, block bad.
Feel the flow, Happy. It's circular. It's Like a carousel. You get on the horse. It goes up, down and around. Circular. Circle. With the music, the flow. All good things.I...

I love those "rangefinders" that you measure the stick from top and bottom. They dont work at all.

yeah, it's like bionoculars and we've tried it on numerous occassions and it's so inaccurate and stupid to use, lol. It's frustrating.
