Hitting Fairways With My Driver- my % is low because I cut corners at the course I Play at, I really dont care if I hit the rough there.

The 19th hole.... definitely the 19th hole. I always make par there.

But really, it's my putting. Everything else comes and goes, but my putter is always solid.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I'm just getting back into playing on a regular basis this season.
Before I stopped playing I would have said, using your list.

1) Not hitting anybody during a round (I can honestly say that I've never even come close)
2) Work the ball either direction (I did get somewhat good at this many years ago)
3) Hitting fairways with my driver (It never went far, but I was accurate)
4) Fairway woods (I topped and shanked as many as I hit well)
5) Eating during the round (sometimes there were crumbs, other times....)
6) Mid irons from 150 yards (simply horrible, topped or shanked balls outnumbered good shots)
7) Chipping around the green and getting up and down (OMGLMAO)
8) Wedges from 100 yards (if I was in perfect range, I looked like a pro, if not, hole score = hole score + 3. Did I mention that I was only likely to be in perfect range 2 or 3 times in 18?)

Today however I'm a bit more serious about the game and I have access to many resources that didn't exist when I quite the game. Today I would say, again using most of your scale.

1) Not hitting anybody during a round (again, still haven’t gotten close)
2) Mid irons from 150 yards (my father, friends, and cousin are amazed at how well I'm hitting my irons, but I'm still more then a club back from them as far as distance is concerned)
3) Wedges from 100 yards (Switched to a very slow backswing, doing well here)
4) Hitting fairways with my driver (better then 50/50 right now if you ignore the truly bad drives off the toe/heel/topped/complete pop up)
5) Chipping around the green (not bad, not great)
6) Work the ball either direction (this used to be easy for me, giving me some grief since coming back)
7) Eating during the round (this is iffy, had a mustard disaster on hole 10 a few weeks ago)
8) Fairway woods (NA, I'm afraid to try and hit fairway woods right now)
9) Putting (Wow, just wow, most people would be truly surprised at how bad I'm doing at putting. 40 putts for 18 would probably allow me to break 100 easily)

Right now every part is fairly equal.

Sand, chipping, pitching, wedges, short irons, mid irons, hybrids, fairway woods, driver, lag putting, short putts . . . everything is good but not great, no part is weak.

Which begs the question . . . what to practice?

9 iron approach shots are the ones that get me the birdies, so I should try and set that yardage up off the tee.

Strongest part of my game would definetely be my short game. I land alot of chips within a few feet, which also helps my putting average stay consistently in the high 20's.

The problem is i hit the green on my second shot (with long irons) abiut 20% of the time meaning i rarely can get birdies. But if its a shorter par 4 i have a chance of a birdie

my strongest part would probably be LW approach/chip/flop shots. i can pretty much count on getting up and down with that club in my hands. my driving is typically pretty strong, but as of late it has disappeared. my iron play is generally pretty good, i can go out and count on hitting 60%-75% GIR. i have a pretty solid game, but the big thing that can kill me is my tempo, on occasion i get too fast and lose everything.

Playing ego-free golf, and knowing my limits. I still take a driver off the tee (even though I can't hit it straight), but otherwise I'm very content to play the clubs with which I can make solid contact.

Usually this means I am playing a lot of 7-iron and wedges rather than longer irons or fairway metals.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

Strongest:
Driving distance
Ball striking

Getting pretty good:
Wedges (100 yards in)
Chipping
Putting

Weakest:
Driving accuracy

I am working really hard on that weakest part of my game. I am working with a pro buddy of mine to shorten my swing and its starting to help my accuracy with the driver. I have lost 10-15 yards in driving distance, but I had distance to spare. I just need to control my accuracy.

Strongest: Chipping (not pitching) and putting.

Weakest: Drive accuracy/ iron acciuracy. Example. last round at my home course I hit 0 fairways and 0 greens in the front 9 and then proceeded to hit 3 of each on the back 9. I still shot 82 (that's good for me!)

Driving & Drive Accuracy is my strong part. put me into the thick stuff and i'm a mess! most of my bogey holes come from not being on in 2 due to the rough or a missed drive that leaves me a 4 or 3 iron out.
my chipping, pitching & flop shots have been money lately too.

my weakest part - proper speed on the greens. I'll start the right line to play but it'll come up short or too long.

Who misses 5 birdie putts from within 10 feet in 9 holes?

Iron play. Never thought I'd say that but it has drastically improved this year and has improved my scores as well. I'm hoping that in a couple months I can say that chipping and greenside bunker play has improved as those areas are the weakest right now.
