Where is everyone golfing at and what is the prices?

I play Metrowest golf course, nice course, clean, just wished they had g.p.s. in the carts.

Make my way over to the Orlando "area" quite a bit. More accurately Celebration, etc... We stay over at the Omni there and play their courses. Great tracks over there.

I'm on the north side of Orlando (Lake Mary). My favorite spots are out in Lake County.....Black Bear and Eagle Dunes. Both are always in great shape with greens that roll very nice. Both are great bang for your buck courses. I'm a twilight guy. The twilight rates at either course are around 35-40 bucks. The greens at Eagle Dunes are as good as anywhere I've played. They get to rolling VERY quick sometimes.

Shingle Creek is my favorite. Since it is a resort course, it is always in great shape. Currently $44 with the Drivers Club card. The Drivers Club card in $79 per year and gives you significant reductions in greens fee, 2 dollar range balls, handicapping service, pro shop discounts, etc.......

I hope you realize that Orlando and Naples may as well be in different time zones.

I'll second that about Eagle Dunes. While I don't live in Florida, I get down to play in Orlando at least once a year, and last year I played Eagle Dunes. When I played it they had literally just aerated the greens...and the damn things were still running about 11.5 on the Stimpmeter!

I talked to the pro inside and even told him "if they run this quick after being aerated, I can't imagine what they normally run". He just smiled.... Couple of weeks ago I got to play Orange County (Panther Lake course) and it was also very nice.
