Well I got most of my golf game figured out except for my putting. It stinks compared to the rest of my game. I tend to 2 putt a lot and occasionally a crappy 3 putt.

What I've noticed is that my balls goes to the right. Like I'm not lining up my putt correctly. That has to be the culprit right?

Any tips on how to set up correctly?

This sounds like your wrists are taking over.

Cross hand putt... i.e. keep yours hands on the same side of the club, but make your right hand the top hand, and your left hand the underneath hand.

The easiest solution to this that I realized was to putt from the other side... i.e. I am a left who played 12 years from the right side, I stayed a righty putter because I can keep my wrists firm and not make "wrist action" putts.

There was a drill on the Golf channel last night talking about making sure you were using your shoulders to make your swing and not too much wrist action. The guy said to put a golf ball between the grip and your right wrist and hold it there making sure not to drop it while putting.

Setting the club behind the ball then setting your feet always helped my consistency on all types of shots - especially putting! I like to set the club behind the ball while hovering my head directly above the ball and initial target line.
