You've got to be kidding me. They quit the coverage with only a few shots left and go to sports center. These guys are a disgrace to golf coverage.

Ok Wie is the big story and deserves some coverage but come on. Villegas has the best round of the tournament (64) and we got to see what about half a dozen of his shots. He played with Wie so the cameras were there. Why not show someone who can actually contend? Who else played with Wie? Did you see any shots he hit? Chris Couch by the way. He played just as bad as Wie lets at least see him hit something. I loved the tee shot on 18 that Villegas hit. The cameras never found it. Never did see where it went because they cut the coverage.

Furyk got alot of attention which is understood but who else played with him? Mike Wier and Jason Gore. We saw what about one shot from each of them. Jason Gore is the biggest cinderalla story of last year and a crowd favorite. Why no coverage. What about wier is he not worthy of tv coverage?

2 1/2 hours of coverage and we probably saw less than 20 golfers hit shots. This is not acceptable to me. I hope espn never covers another golfing event in my life. Sorry to rant but this is ridiculous.

To be fair to them, it's not like it was the final round.

That's why we got to see "as many" as six shots!

Well, your prayers have been answered. Just take a nap until 2007.

Ditto. I was screaming all day Thursday and Friday about that pathetic coverage. Michelle Wie, in dead last place, and I have to watch every single shot she takes. Not once did I see an Adam Scott shot. Totally unacceptable to me. I don't care if she is the media darling or not, it's a golf tournament... it's a competitive, professional sports event and they made it into a paparazzi parade.

She's not my darling. She's pretty quickly moving into never-was territory. She hasn't done anything yet to be a has-been.

She has a lot of years ahead of her, but I don't know that turning pro will help her be the best golfer she can be. It's almost like a mini-Sean O'Hair without the abusive dad. Except that her dad might be slightly abusive (orders of magnitude away from Sean's dad, but still: was her decision to turn pro solely hers?).

Michelle Wie will be to the Sony Open as Jack Lemon was to the AT&T.; year after year, we will be hearing ..."Is this the year?"

ESPN is an absolute travesty to golf coverage. Their understanding of sport presentation is geared to shoe and beer ads aimed at the duffus with his hat on backwards and pizza on his souvenir Iverson jersey.

There is absolutely NOTHING worse for a golf fan than having to listen to that fat blubbering slob Chris berman make his stupid alliterations like Gary "RUM AND" Koch or David "Who do you" Love during the US open. He absolutely ruined the enjoyment of the first two days when ESPN takes over for the network and he gets to anchor because of his contract.

They should park his ass on STREETBALL where his gibberish can be appreciated.

Bury me with a golf glove in my pocket - just in case!
