N Ireland golfer Darren Clarke has given a timely reminder to Nick Faldo that he is after a Ryder Cup spot with victory at the KLM at the weekend.

With just one week to go before the teams are finalised and only the Johnnie Walker to go next weekend there are a few who will be sweating on Faldos preferances

Clarke himself, Poulter, Casey, and Kaymer seem to be fighting for the two wild cards.(assuming Monty has been dissregarded)

Id take Clarke and Kaymer, YOU?

Tough one, Darren Clarke played solid this week, but the year in general has been rather quiet, Ian Poulter deserves a pick, and is one of the few players with the cockyness and bottle required for a Ryder Cup style format, Martin Kaymer probably won't get the pick, I am hoping Monty won't get the pick, It's a tough choice between Casey and Clarke for me.

I personally hope for either hanson or wilson to drop out and Kaymer to get in automatically otherwise i doubt he'd get a pick. I think i'd probably go for Casey and Ross Fisher

I'd take Clarke and either Poulter or Casey. I might lean towards Casey, simply because I like him more than Poulter.

I can't see Kaymer getting a pick. Although I have not ruled him out completley.

Clarke has got to get in. He just has to. Period. Earlier this year I went to see the guy play at the portuguese open, and I tell you, that guy has to get in the ryder cup. He play as well as the winner, but had really bad breaks during his 4 rounds.

And the other, well, I'd pick Monty even though I don't like him at all, but he is unbeaten in singles matches and europe needs that. He's 1/2 point at least.

But, since Faldo's not stupid, I think he would choose between Casey, Kaymer, Kjeldsen and Mcginley
