I cant stop hooking the ball. Help!

Have you tried shortening up your left thumb?

Have you tried taking a rediculously outside to in practise swing and making sure that you dont release the club? kind of like miguel angel jimenez (or however you spell it) does.

If you're sure that both a more open stance or a more neutral grip is not helping, I'd suggest the following ideas:

1) Make sure that your weight is on your front foot at the finish/pose. If you leave some weight on the back foot, you might be coming around the ball with a club face that is closed.

2) Your ball may be too far back in your stance. Move it forward a little at a time to see if it straightens your ball path.

3) Use a slightly tighter grip if yours is too loose. Without a stable grip, the club head will accelerate forward and can close up.
