You got one heck of a deal. According to the site right now and I dont remember it ever being lower, AAA are $13.95 and they are in avg condition. AAAA is $21.95 and they are very good condition, and the AAAAA are $26.95 and they are NEAR mint.

Yeah last time I picked up some Pro V1/V1x for 9.99 and they were AA not AAA. Overall they were playable but a few looked kind of beat up. AAA for 10 bucks is a good deal. Also I think the Maxfli Fires are 10 bucks a dozen at my local golf galaxy all the time, if they were the Tour fire it would be a good deal. Lately I've been using the Nike Power Distance soft for 12/dozen and they're surprisingly good.

The Maxfli Tour Fire balls are only 36 for 3 dozen at RockBottom. Ive never hit them but they sure write them up to sound good.

I like them, especially for the $$

I recently bought 45 Maxfli MD distance balls for about $30 from that site... I have to say I am disappointed in these balls though... but it didn't cost me too much... Honestly, I still love the Maxfli Revolution solid, I usually get 24 for $24 from a local shop...

What's the difference between the regular Fire and the Tour Fire?

I'm kind a bumming a little because the price isn't all that much more... They are both 3 piece balls from what I gather. EDIT: Just found this on GolfWRX. Think the regular Fire is the right ball for me
The only difference is the cover material. The tour is softer but also a little easier to scuff. You can get insane amounts of spin with the tour ball off a good wedge but the regular fire sticks very well also. I play the tours when I play with the wife so it is easier to distinguish who's ball is who's(she likes the regular fire better. The regular fire is very tough to tear up for a ball that spins well. I am not cheap, I just don't feel that the tour is 50% better ball. I think dollar for dollar the regualr fire is by far the best ball going. Both are an improvemnt over the black max which used to be my ball. I think the dimple pattern and covers were the only major changes from the black max.

I have played both the Tour Fire and the Fire... The Tour Fire feels softer to me, it compresses nicely, too. I find I hit it nice and far and it has some decent control, especially around the greens...

To me the Tour Fire is a better ball, cost is not that much of an issue with this ball anymore, so I don't even bother comparing the price difference between the two... For the money I think the Tour Fire is a great ball...
