Being in Michigan and a fan of Oakland Hills I was able to get my hands on a piece of memorabila from the PGA Championship. I've heard of people mailing things to players to have them signed.

Has anyone done this? I figure the best way would be to show up at an event and stalk the golfer of choice, but thats not my style. The golfer in question is the PGA Championship winner, Padraig Harrington. Shy of locating an address and sending this thing to Ireland. I'm looking for ideas. Anyone, anyone??

see who represents him (agency & agent). contact them. most of the time they'll be happy to fulfill requests. but in person is the best way to do it.

Go to a tournament PRACTICE round and take an 8 year old kid with you.

I took my son to a US Open practice round and he got autographs from Phil, ANthony Kim, Jerry Kelly, KJ Choi, David Leadbetter, Zach Johnson, Steve Stricker, and others.

Oh and the tickets are much cheaper and the crowds smaller for practice rounds.
