Upgrade driver shaft

i used to have a diamana blueboard R flex on my sasquatch driver and the performance was astounding, until i needed an S Flex. So recently, i upgraded shafts in my 3 wood and hybrid and their performance greatly improved, i was getting more carry and more roll. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some low launch shafts for drivers that are for better players.

Thanks for the impute

Re: Upgrade driver shaft

How much do you want to spend? You can go really high end and purchase a Matrix Ozik shaft. Since you had a Diamana, have you thought about an Accra? They are made by UST and Mariyama. Also, you can go wrong with a UST Proforce.

I'll make the same recommendation I make to everyone. Find the CPM count that produces an optimum launch angle and ball flight. Have your fitter then pure the shaft to that exact number. CPM is the shaft flex, BTW. It's more precise than saying "Regular" or "Stiff." It narrows it down to the nitty gritty.

Re: Upgrade driver shaft

First off, where did you get that great idea for putting the college that you want to go to in your signature?

More importantly, why not try the Blueboard again, but in stiff? If that doesn't do it for you maybe try the Whiteboard. But if you wanna try something away from Mistubishi Rayon, try Matrix Ozik, Graphite Design, Prolaunch Red. I mean all of the shaft companies make a good low launch shafts, as long as you are willing to spend the money for it. But Just go try out different shafts, get fit if you can, or check the company websites and find the one that performs how you want, and then get it.

Re: Upgrade driver shaft

I totally agree with the above comment. However, i would suggest trying the new Aldila DVS.

the best way to test out some shafts, is to go to your local golf store and ask to quick-fit some shafts in one of the manufacturers set-up. Like Nike, Callaway, Taylor Made etc.

They can "click/screw-in/on" a new shaft in seconds, and most stores have the majority of the shafts on site.
