Not to ground their putters behind the ball on windy days.

Ryan Palmer may lose today's tounament and his card because his ball moved after he addressed it. He also seemed to think that by walking away he "unaddressed it". If your livelihood depended on it wouldn't you learn the rules?

Some players complain about the rule when there is such a simple remedy.

Nicklaus never suffered such a penalty because he knew enough not to ground his putter.

Sad. In his annotated Rules of Golf (from the late 80s, I think), Tom Watson points out how in many situations it's extremely important not to address the ball for just this reason. OOPS.

In the bag:
FT-iQ 10° driver, FT 21° neutral 3H
T-Zoid Forged 15° 3W, MX-23 4-PW
Harmonized 52° GW, Tom Watson 56° SW, X-Forged Vintage 60° LW
White Hot XG #1 Putter, 33"
