Bridgestone e6+ vs. Nike PowerSoft

Testing has shown that both balls have relatively equivalent compression, cover hardness, distance, and spin.

Can any of you tell a difference between the two? I play the Powersofts right now, and I've read that the dimple pattern makes them fly higher than a normal ball. Is this true of the e6+ as well?

I played both today. The Nike is softer and has a better "feel" for me. Spin seemed about the same.. i.e. low. I like the feel of the Nikes on the green better as well. Nothing "wrong" with the e6+ but nothing in the e6+ that's going to get me away from the PD Softs. My buddy has an extra 3 sleeves of the e6+ and he asked me if I wanted them. I said, "well, I'll take em', but I'm not willing to pay you for them". He's going to give them to me anyway..

Can't really comment on higher flight. I was kind of all over the place today and couldn't really notice a difference in trajectory.

well in golf magizne feburary edition that has the ball test they do say there realetively close here are the number distance e6 251 pd soft 255.9
spin e6 7651 pd soft 8888 so the pd soft goes farther spins more ie a better ball

It's going to take a lot to get me to pay more for the e6+

But IF the trajectory is lowever, the e6+ might be better for windy days. The Nikes really fly high.

I don't know about the E6+ balls...my experience with them is limited to a couple of found balls only.

I've played the E5+ extensively and it is actually my ball of choice. I most assuredly flies on a higher trajectory than standard and the spin rate is elevated. I can't say enough about this great ball.

That being said the other ball in my sig is a very strong performer with simular results....just a tad less spin but equally high trajectory.

For my winter ball I've been try'n the Bridgestone e6+,(I usually play either the e5+ or 330S). I don't know if its my new swing, my driver/shaft combo or the ball, but I'm driving farther than I was this last summer. So I'd have to say try the e6+.
