Tiger missing the Players Championship?

Did anyone else see that Tiger missed his practice round at the TPC and is "not on site" at this time. Rumor has it he has gone to be with his father who is in bad shape. The tournament officials are all still saying he'll be there. What do you think?

Yeah, I heard about him missing his practice round today. It will be unfortunate for the fans if he doesn't play, but family time is certainly much more important.

Hopefully all is well with Earl Woods.

If his dad is in bad shape, I don't see Tiger making the trip to Sawgrass. I know that his dad hasn't been in the best of health for some time now.

Tiger's dad has to be the reason as I can think of nothing else that could keep him from this event. Sadly, his dad has been battling cancer for a while now. I wish him the very best as he wades through some rough water.
