Going to be upgrading my old 580XD soon, Thinking about the Tour Burner or the FT-5 or FT-I. What do you think? Perhaps a different driver? I am a high 80's to low 90's shooter, I normally hit a slight fade. If I were right handed I would just go to the local golf shop and hit different models but none of the stores in this area carry much of a left handed selection. Thanks for the replies.

go with the ft-i it should add distance to your drives because it is almost dead straight which will be longer than your fade. you shouldn't consider the tour burner unless you hit it first because of the extra long shaft you will lose accuracy and it will most likely make your fade into a slice. ft-5 is a good choice if you don't like the shape of the ft-i

i agree with kcas about the tour burner. i certainly will not fix your slice. it is a very nice driver though

i think the ft-5 would be a good choice. i havent hit an ft-i but everyone says the go nothing but straight

The "Tour Burner" does not have an extra long shaft however the "Burner" driver (both old and new models) does. Also the stock tour burner (not the TP model) has a slight draw configuration so may help with your slice. I have played both the FT-5 and Tour Burner and would recommend either. I mainly got rid of my FT-5 because I didn't like the shaft and got a good trade deal.

Good luck with the purchase
