  • You are snow blowing and adjusting the shoot you consider it a low fade or high draw and you make considerations for the wind.
  • When you realize you are thinking about golfing while snow blowing you consider quitting your job and move your family to Flordia to golf more, even though you don't care for Flordia.
  • When you talk to someone about the posibility of new clubs, the next time they see you they also ask to see your new clubs and most of the time you can show them.

Just a few of my thoughts from this past weekend that I found amusing about my addiction.

… you find it difficult to distinguish the difference between the possessive pronoun and the contraction of “you are.”

..every time your wife asks "what are you thinking about?" you either have to say "golf" or lie. I've gotten to the point where I will force myself to think about work just to seem less pathetic.

On the day of your wedding, you get hit by someone else's full shot and hurt pretty badly... but finish the round anyway, refusing medical treatment -- and have to limp down the aisle in a haze. Oh, wait... this is no big deal; it is normal behavior, right?

-You have to lie about being at the golf course because people just don't understand how anyone could be there that much.

-You have to get a job at the golf course to support the habit.

-You give the golf course's number to people as your best daytime phone number

By the way I have done all three of these!

AMEN to that! It's really cold out here in OH. This morning it was like -20* and it was even worse yesterday morning! I can't take it anymore. I told my girlfriend and some of my family that I'm really considering buying a home in Southern Georgia or something. Maybe in Augusta?

I spend A LOT of time and money on my yard, landscaping, etc.. I get mad when my Pugs poop in my yard or if there's a blade of grass that's taller than the others, etc., BUT, I'll take my weed wacker and hack down a fairly large area just so that I can hit balls. Out of everything on T.V. and the thousands of movies out there, my T.V.'s are set on the Golf Channel 99% of the time, or the channel that the majors, etc., are on.
