Been thinking about getting some new irons this year. Looking at the HiBore irons from Cleveland. I need some pros and cons from some who has played them. Thanks in advance.

They should be easy to hit, but I am not a big fan of Cleve irons. And these particular ones are too bulky.
My achievements:
Eagles: 0
Birdies: 18
Best Round: 89

I would think that a 9 handicap wouldn't need the kind of super game improvement that a full set of hybrid irons provides. It's not like some sets where the longer irons are hybrids and the rest are cavity backs - here the each club is a hybrid. Someone more skilled would probably not like the higher ball flight and the lack of workability.

If you are a beginner looking to improve these are great irons for you, they are easy to hit and extremely forgiving on miss hits. A buddy of mine bought them a year ago and improved by 6-10 strokes per round.

I made my brother in law buy a set this past weekend, he was frustrated as hell trying to hit 3 4 and 5 irons, he never broke 60 playing 9 holes. We played last Sunday and he shot a 52 for 9, it was his best round yet. You can get a set of last years on the web in the 300 range...

I want to pound the MEATHEAD & The METROSEXUAL from the Slazenger RAW commercial..

I just purchased these and dropped 11 stokes on the first round I played with them. Went from a 97 to an 86. I went out again the next day to see if it was a fluke and shot a 93. I tee off now with the 4i and find that in a round I'll use every club in the set.

I don't like the wedge in poor lies or rough, so I purchased a couple of differant wedges for this.

I hit these clubs higher and much farther. My 7 iron went from 130 yards to 160 yards. I completly statisfied with my set and feel like a real golfer now.
