Just wondering if any of you out there Twitter? I'm basically in love with it! If you don't know what it is, it's basically micro-blogging. Or if you're familiar with facebook or myspace, it's just "status updates". And that's all. Nothing fancy. I thought that at first too...but it definitely is beginning to become more useful the more I use it. One thing I currently use it for is news/search in real-time. Others that have thousands of followers use it for crowdsourcing. Some use it as a bookmarking tool. Some use it as a to-do list a la rememberthemilk. Some just want to be heard (even if noone is listening).

Most will simply tell you to just start using it and its benefits become clear. Most probably did start that way.

Yep, but I'm in marketing and social media is an element of marketing.

You might want to check out @titleist @vokeywedges and @taylormadePO

plus there are other golf pro's, trainers, etc...

I don't tweet yet. I noticed all the most well known golfers have Twitter account suspended. Probably Twitter squatting going on there.

It just seems like a hassle to me... I don't really care if too many people know what I'm up to any given day. Plus, it would be one more thing I never look at just like my facebook and myspace acounts... which I haven't checked in several months.

It just seems like a hassle to me... I don't really care if too many people know what I'm up to any given day.

But how will people know that you are wondering what shoes to wear?

Twitter > Facebook. I just like it cuz it's simple, and actually very imformative. If you have the Space and Facebook, you might as well try Twitter
