Dub,

Would love to recommend something, but top notch DVDs seem relatively rare to me. There are some classics by Butch Harmon and Hank Haney but to me they are sort of like snippets of what you see in golf magazines... not a lot of chicken on that bone. There are many DVDs by lesser known teachers but a lot of those are sort of like the flavor of the week -- some special point or idea dominates the story, and these may be contradictory to others' ideas.

Sorry, no recommendations come to mind. I cannot speak at all about the stack and tilt since I do not ascribe to that technique and have no DVDs about it.

I seem to have a manuever that rears it's ugly head every so often....looks like a warped version of the Stack & Tilt......called the reverse pivot.

I gotta do something quick about my short game. Gonna call today and set up a lesson....quickly.

I would recommend the Short Game DVDs by Paul Wilson.

http://swingmachinegolf.com/short-game.html

One of the best short-game DVDs I have seen. He goes into why it's important to learn a certain move, what human nature might cause you to do (and how to fight it), and a good systematic approach.

btw, e-mail the man and he will respond within the same day or the next - I have traded several emails back and forth with him. He is very passionate about the game and it really shows in his e-mails. Top notch.

Honestly, instructional DVDs are so generic that I wouldn't recommend any of them. If I were going to recommend anything for the short game it would be Pelz Short Game bible. Gives the depth you would be missing in a DVD.

I'd recommend the Shawn Clement DVD's ( www.shawnclementgolf.com ). Great videos at a great price. Several hours covering philosophy of the swing, effective drills, and a course management/playing lesson.

What I play:

Driver: XLS Hibore 9.5* Fit-On Red (S)
Woods: Tour XPC 16* Graffaloy ProLite (S)
Hybrid: Exotics 3HIrons: Reid Lockhart 3-SWWedge: rac 60*Putter: a crappy $20 Academy putter (but it works!)

Check out the instructional videos at www.pga.com click video, then the instruction tab and then drill through the menu until you get to hte video you want to see. Some of them don't play reliably, but, for the price, it's a good value...they are free.

In the bag:
Driver: Rapture V2, 9 degree, stiff shaft
Fairway Woods: X-Hot 3 wood
Hybrid: 3H
Irons: J36 PC 4-PW Project X 6.0 Shafts, FlightedWedges: CG14, 50 54 and 58 degree Putter: Guerin Rife 2 Bar with Winn grip B330S Pro V1x
