Tough to respect a guy who frickin' withdraws:

Mark Calcavecchia sure was. He was at 6-over, with no chance to make the cut, and stuck on his final hole when he decided to withdraw. Ditto for David Duval, who was 10-over with five holes to play, stuck around for a few hours then decided to head home to Denver.

I was a Duval fan. Now I'm not so sure.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Tough to respect a guy who frickin' withdraws:

Obviously I don't know the guy personally, but if I was in his shoes I really don't know how I'd sleep at night. Having that kind of success at your job and then falling flat on my face. I'd be busting my @$$ just to try and get back to respectability.

I wonder if he's developing a bit of Ian Baker-Finch syndrome and all the shanks and hooks he's been hitting are all between the ears and he's about to just give up on it. Either way, I really hope he can turn it around soon.
