Has anyone tried the new Cobra S9-1 Pro Driver?

I'm between the Titleist D3 and the Cobra S9-1 Pro and was wondering if anyone had hit the Cobra because I demoed the D3 and liked it a lot but wasn't totally sold. Any help would be appreciated.

Wondering the same myself. Did you try the D2? I liked the D3, but loved the D2

Seems like most of the Titleist pros are playing the 460 cc D2 instead of the D3.

I tried the s9-1 on the range the other day. I can't compare it to the D2 or D3 because I have never hit either of those. The s9 felt great. It had an x-stiff shaft which was too much for me, but I really liked the feel of the head. I think it's meant for a low handicapper with a fast clubhead speed. It's very easy to work (draw/fade), but also seemed easy for me to slice.

Is the sound still terrible? The driver I have (I'm assuming the driver the S9-1 replaced) is annoying. I am embarrassed to hit more than two shots in a row at the range cause everyone stares at me thinking I'm trying to kill the ball as far as I can, when in fact, I'm just making a normal, relaxed swing.

I haven't tried the D2 yet, but I had a chance this afternoon between classes to go demo the Cobra. I was very impressed with the way it felt, but i didn't get a true judge of the ball flight because it was on a monitor. It felt very light even though it has the 65g Matriz Ozik shaft. When I demo it outside I'll let you know, but I'm definately going to get out this weekend and hit both the D2 and S9-1.

p.s. the sound was nothing like the older style (aluminum bat) tings cobra was starting to become synonymous with.

laxstar24, I live on Long Island too, somewhat near Babylon.
I was bombing the D3 when I last tried it out and preferred the head size to the D2. I hit it better than the D2, but that was because of the different shafts. I hope to make a trip soon to try the S9-1 Pro.

I tried the Cobra S9-1 Pro and compared it to the D2. I thought the Cobra hit pretty well but ultimately i loved the D2.

I guess I need to try the D2 I have however narrowed it down to 3 drivers the Cobra S91S the D3 and the MP 600 I also liked the S91 F but the stock shaft is kind of weak, What pro model did you guy's try the S or the D I liked the S better.
