I need help in choosing new irons. I am a good player who once played a lot and became a 3 handicap. Life, family, and all that other stuff caused me to put the game on the back burner. Now after 2 shoulder and 1 back surgeries and much work I am playing again. My handicap is now 6 and I have noticed that my skills have diminished a bit. Still have a swing speed over 100 mph, but I am hitting old Taylor Made Tour Edition Blades. I have hit the R-7"s and firmly believe a cavity back is the way to go....but I need other suggestions to make sure. Anyone willing to help!!!

Irons are sooooo much about feel. Personally, I like the ping I5's I have. Go hit some balls with a whole bunch of different ones. At a 6 handicap, I would be concerned if you got too big of a cavity and lost some of the ability to work the ball. It's all about YOUR FEEL.
