The recent winner of the Byron Nelson Classic was Brett Wetterich ( congrats to him...81 attempts on tour...got his win :) and 1.165 million dollars lol WOWOWOWOWOW)...anyways he will be attempting to qualify for the U.S. Open...at the same damn course that I am. For any of you who have play Makatewah in Cincinnati, Ohio, you will know it is not a long course. You pull the driver MAYBE 4 times...and so he will pull his 3 wood maybe that many times. He may have won the Byron Nelson, but in my opinion thi si the kind of course that could bother him. Also, his swing...how much more open can his stance be...seems like one of those swings where if it works, it doesn't work for long and once it goes wrong it goes WAY wrong. Anyone else agree?

Is he still attempting to qualify or has he now qualified? No, I guess not, he's still 16th on the 2006 money list:

S-11. From the 2006 official PGA Tour money list, the top 10 money leaders through May 28 (must have filed an entry by April 26).

S-12. Any multiple winner of PGA co-sponsored events whose victories are considered official from April 27, 2005 through June 4, 2006.

Yeah...he still has to qualify :)...and it isn't so called a tight course...but its a course that you have to hit it straight...i mean if u go off the fairway its tough.
