ive been gettting the e6+ since the beginning of last year and i like it a lot, actually, i love it. but i was looking at the e7+ and was wondering if any of you have played both. i tend not to put a whole lot of stock into what is printed on the boxes for info - looking for real input instead.

I have played both (as well as just about every other non-premium ball on the market). The e7+ is my ball of choice (with the exception of B330RX when I can afford to buy them). If you read the box and website you'll see it's supposed to be a lower trajectory ball. I find that claim to be true. It feels a little firmer than the e6+ and does seem to have a lower trajectory (especially with irons). Furthermore, I like it's a little longer as well (at least for me). I have always had a very high trajectory with all my clubs and was fine on most days, but on windy days this created huge issues so I found the e7+ and tried them. With a driver it seemed that the ball as coming off lower (and possibly even hotter) and would roll out a little bit more. My swing is not consistent enough to hit both balls side by side and compare distance, but some of my longest drives have been with the e7+. With irons it seemed like they were quite a bit lower, but them still landed softly and stopped quickly.

I always thought the e6+ was a little 'mushy' feeling but the e7+ definitely feels a little firmer. I think your swing speed and ball trajectory should probably determine which ball is best for you, but I personally like the e7+ better between the 2 models.

I have played both, though not in any kind of way that would be valid for scientific research. My initial impressions are that the e7+ is firmer than the e6+. Certainly felt this on chips and putts. Similar behaviour with fuller shots in terms of stopping on the green. I felt that the e7+ travelled a little further, though I don't like the feel as much as the e6+.

Interesting. I found a e6 and liked it for the round I played with it. I've heard some good things about the e series. I'd like to try the e7 because I'd like a lower ball flight as well. My drives tend to balloon up on me sometimes.

i like the soft feel of the 6, so if the 7 is a little harder/firmer feeling and doesnt spin as much on shorter shots i may stick to the 6.

The E7+ has a little bit lower ballflight but I find that I hit the E6+ a little bit straighter. Im personally a big fan of the E6+. Since I started playing it, Ive started hitting the ball straighter than I ever have.
