Pretty straightforward. I typically hit a medium draw off the tee (i'm a lefty). However the last two rounds I have played it has either been a vicious snap or pull hook, or I block it way left. The block I am pretty sure is a result of me shortening by backswing and can be avoided.
It's the snap hook I am really worried about...

Any tips?

I've found recently that I've been laid off at the top with too much of an open face, and I come across it open. So, thinking about that I try to keep it closed and end up hitting a snap hook too. Funny thing is, at the range it would straighten itself after a few practice drives.

In the end... I just loosened my grip and stopped worrying about it. Relaxed, and gravity fixed it. Heh. Sometimes you just gonna trust your swing I guess.

One of the things I instructor Dad once said is if you are stuggling with driver, work on hitting it 150 yards to help get the tempo back, then work on 200 yards, etc. until you get back to hitting it full. He always said this drill helps get your timing and tempo back.

Tough to trust the swing when I am playing from the ladies tees on the opposite hole! But I see what you are saying... I was quite tense last round now that I think about it.

My timing is definitely out... thanks for the tip!
