Interesting to me b/c it looks like we are very similarly built and play at about the same level (mid to high single digit).

One thing I noticed is that you do slide with the hips a bit on the backswing -- you can see it if you watch the position of your right hip in relation to the tree in the background. I ALWAYS get inconsistent when I slide my hips. Anyway, that is one comment I have.

I would also say you may want to try dropping your arms a bit so your hands are on the drop line from your shoulders at address -- a la Tom Watson. Maybe something to experiment with.

Good luck.

Hey, thanks for the comment!

What do you mean by the dropping my arms thing?
Having a little slide on my backswing helps me with my tempo, timing, and long irons, but I agree I had a little too much it looks like.

Also, do I come to high on the follow through? Like does it look to vertical and should my swing be more around my body? Or is it okay like it is?

Very formidable swing. I would pull through with the left side a bit more before releasing the hands, it looks like you have released your wrist cock some before you actually come into the hitting area. Still, nicely done. I can see where you could play a very nice game with that swing.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

Nice swing. Is there anything wrong with your ball-flight? Very off topic, but how did you make the video of your swing into an image?

I see a great extension.....a great turn.....a super follow through.....essentially a solid golf swing.

The Good: A lot! Tempo, acceleration at and through impact, the full finish, posture, set up. Great looking stuff.

The Bad: Two things, not so much. I would like to see you relax your elbows. 1) You are relaxed looking everywhere else, but there. 2) When you practice swings in your backyard like that, go ahead and start over with each swing. Step back, loose the grip, take a second then start again. Try to picture an actual shot happening each time. Keep it up!

My ball flight....high. Too high. But I just switched drivers to the R7 Limited so we'll see how that goes. But my previous setup was a Speeder 757 X Flex shaft, but in a 10 Draw Callaway head.

I took my camera, downloaded it onto my computer after plugging it in, then I went into Photoshop where it lets you do GIF's. Cut it down and uploaded it through a video hosting site.

Hey thanks alot Ben! Means alot coming from you.

I think I'm capable of making a good swing every time, but I tend to rush my self and like you said, I need to step back, loosen the grip, and prepare for the shot instead of just rushing up to the tee to get it over with. It's good to hear I have a decent swing, I just need to take my time and trust in my swing. That's my biggest problem is trusting my driver.

Wow, what a difference that makes. Switched to the R7 Limited and had my best driving day in over 6 months. Low ball flight and a mile away. Love the new club!

Good looking golf swing overall- nice extension, balance and rhythm.

Critiques:
1. You seem to be reaching out at address instead of letting your arms hang more naturally- this can create tension in your arms and inconsistencies in your swing plane.
2. You do sway off the ball. Try turning around the right hip more.
3. You're casting the club from the top. Try to maintain a 90 angle between left arm and shaft until your hands are almost at your right hip.

Weapons of choice:
Irons/wedges: Titleist Tour Grind
Driver:Titleist 909D2
3 Wood: Tour Edge Exotic
Putter: Odyssey White Hot

First i would pull a different club out of thast rough
A couple of things i noticed.
- If you find yourself hitting it too high try setting your right shoulder a little higher at address (so your shoulders are more level) and move the ball back slighly (maybe an inch).
- Like others stated you need to maintain your wrsit cock. This should bring down the flight and add distance. Try hitting wedges by cocking your wrists and ripping the club through with your left hand, this will give you the feeling.
- set your wrists a little bit sooner on the back swing, this will help you maintain a better angle on the way down.

Nice swing!
