i hit a lot of shots with the face open where the ball is pushed right or where I pull the ball where it starts left and keeps going left. When i swing i never feel the clubhead really release and have kind of a chicken wing like i am hoding on. The woosh in my swing happens after the ball. Should the woosh happen right at the point of the ball and have the feeling that the club head is exploding at impact like the club is trying to pass by you?

when i'm swinging i'm not really trying to hear a 'woosh', but when i feel like i'm not releasing, i just try to keep my back to the target a little longer which in turn allows my hands to catch up.

Obviously the "whoosh" would be the fastest point of your swing and you want that to happen at impact. When I'm not releasing my driver it's because my hands are trapped behind my body. I try to shorten my backswing which helps me keep my hands in front of my body during the swing.

Swing = Stacked and On Plane when possible.

      Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

      Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
