Looking for some advice...

I have been practicing at the range with a bladed 6 iron, trying to learn how to hit the ball better while making my swing consistent. I've actually made some great progress but I find that about 1/7-8 shots I get this awful push plus.

It doesn't go right (I'm right handed) it squirrels right. No slice to it. It feels awful coming off the club. It's 1/7-8 shots but it is strange. Is this a "consistent" shank. Other than this, most of my balls go where I want (if I hit the sweet spot they go further than if I do not) but... I find this odd. When I bring out my other GI iron, I get it once in a while but not so much. Any suggestions? Anything appreciated.

hows your ball position? I find if i get the ball too far back, I will have a tendency to push the ball.

usually dead center or slightly forward of center. sometimes, to work on lag, i'll tee it up play the ball behind center to get the compression feel... same 1/7-8 will push+++.

im gonna say its el hosel because blades are smaller heel to toe thus more likley to catch the hosel

I was thinking that too and next time I go out I'm thinking of a way to get some impact tape on the hosel to see. I just think it strange that hitting off the hosel can give me a consistently awful shot out to the right.
