Hi all, i'm playing off 16 at the minute, i've only been playing just over 2 years so i'm quite pleased with my progress so far.

A couple of weeks ago i hit a personal best +11 (not in comp) and a couple of +12/+14's.

The last 4 or 5 rounds i'm struggling to get lower than +28!

Has it ever happened to you? What were you doing different and how did you get out of the rut?

In my Sun Mountain bag :

Driver : R7 Superquad
Irons : MX-900 3i - PW
Wedges : CG14 52 & 56Putter : 'Fang' #7Balls : TP Red

Man I'm in the same type slump right now. I have been for about a week and a half playing at least 4 or 5 days a week.

I was consistently shooting +12-+15's and now I am struggling to even get through the course with decent holes. Its frustrating.

The other day I went and played with a guy that played community college golf and we shot a -6 on the day scrambling....that was nice.

I started working really hard on my game and my results were going the wrong direction. I decided to stop pressuring my self and enjoy the game no matter what happens. Instantaneously, my score went back down and even lower than it was before.
