I used to have an MX-560 and it was pretty good. I hit the ball long and straight with it and even when I didnt hit the solidly it really didnt go far off line and I didnt lose much distance.
The only reason I dont still use that club is because it was a 12*. I first went to a 12* driver to help reduce my slice, but after I fixed a few flaws in my golfswing the slice went away, so I went to a driver with less loft in order to gain distance.
I got decent distance with the MX-560 though. I hit the ball about 230 yards with it. Now Im playing a Taylormade R9 10.5* with a Fujikura Motore 65 stiff flex shaft and I hit the ball about 250 yards on average. Now, some of you may be thinking, "230 yards really isnt all that long" and you may be right, but keep in mind that club had 12* of loft and a lite flex shaft. So, I had to swing really easy in order to keep the shaft from flexing too much. If I tried to swing hard, I would hit these towering shots that would hang up in the wind, get almost no roll and only go about 200 yards.
I know that some people look down their noses at Mizuno drivers, claiming they dont have the hottest face there is and arent the longest-hitting drivers in the world; but I really had no complaints with my MX-560.
It did have a really weird sound to it. It had a very loud, "tink" noise when it impacted the ball, much louder than any driver Ive ever hit.
I like my R9 but honestly, if I cracked the face of my R9 today, Id go buy an MX-700 in an instant.
Ive talk to a few people who really like the MX-700 and Ive read several rave reviews of that club.

Except for the MX700, I am not really enthusiastic about any of the Mizuno drivers.
EDIT: The JPX-E500 looks interesting as well. But that's sold only in Japan (or online for a ridiculous price tag)

the only thing that throws me off is the difference between the two. why is the mx 700 more game improvement? and I really hate weighting. Especially on a company that values players, why do they put the weighting on the players club?

i have the mp-600, got it as a gift when i bought my mp-52's so i wasn;t going to say no. I do like it, i hit it straight, and i am able to work the ball pretty good, but i have always had it on the nuetral settings since i have bought it. I am lucky enough to hit my drivers straight pretty consistant, so i have always used it in a neutral setting, but i do feel like i am losing distance. I have used the new nike that is adjustable with an extra stiff shaft and i can really put it out there. The taylor made seemed pretty good to. I am actually borrowing my buddies nike he just got to see if i like it better than my mizuno.

Woods have never been the strong side of Mizuno, but with the MX-700 series they have definately made a positive leap towards improving that side. Mizuno pretty much have a solid setup through the entire bag. Most popular being the irons, but they make great wedges, the Bettinardi putters and now hybrids and woods that can compete with the top brands.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I hit the MX-700 earlier this year at a demo, along side of a R9, Cally FT-iQ, Ping G10 and Rapture, and a Speedline. I had no complaints with the Mizzy at all, it performed just as well as anything else out there that day. I mean, there were others that stood out to me, but it wasn't like I was disappointed or felt like the MX-700 wasnt a good driver, because it really was. I'd have no problems playing this driver. If you hit it and like it, go for it, I dont think you'd be disappointed.

Anyone know how good Mizuno F-60 woods are?

I have the f-60 3wood 15* with the Exsar FS3 shaft from mizuno and i have to say i really do like this club. i might end up switching out the driver but the 3 wood is staying put. It has a very nice look and a solid feel when you hit the ball. the shaft and club seem to match my swing and play to a T. I would recommend it to anyone really. good luck

    • A bit of background. The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) runs an annual event known as "Team Play." It is a wildly popular match play competition where Men's Clubs across the region put together teams of 20+ golfers together to compete against other clubs in a 16 vs. 16 match. In any given year, approximately 80-100 clubs will participate. Each club is grouped into "pods" of 4, and will play 6 total matches - one home and one away match against the other 3 clubs. The winning club from each pod advances to the Team Play Playoffs - a single elimination format - until a winner is crowned.  Antelope Valley Country Club just advanced to the championship match for the 3rd consecutive year. They won the championship in both 2022 and 2023.  Based on my review of the match history from the past 3 years (linked below), they have won 21 consecutive team matches. Keep in mind, these are handicapped matches, so this is not just a case where a group of sticks bands together to dominate the poor amateurs other SoCal clubs. Even if these guys are grinders who never quit, play their best under pressure and routinely putt the lights out, the law of averages still say that a streak of that nature is mathematically impossible.  Is there any plausible explanation beyond institutionalized sandbagging throughout the club? • Interesting that Scottie is #10 on the all time money list and he's been on the PGAT for 4 years. Of course, purses are bigger now, but  neat to look at non-the-less.  The list of top 18 money winners in PGA Tour history has plenty of surprises This list is updated through the 2024 RBC Heritage. To add, Scottie won 4.5 million at the Players, Jack played 44 seasons and won a little of 5 million on course.
    • 43 (6 over) Couple bogies, couple Pars, a birdie and no doubles. Not bad for first 9 of the year.

Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
