I purchased a three pack of lessons from Golf Galaxy and so far have worked on the driver and chipping / pitch shots. Both have helped me quite a bit and have improved my game immensly. I have a single lesson left and am trying to decide what to take it on.

These lessons are done in doors and video taped with high speed cameras (well relatively high speed)

THe biggest weakness in my game at this point is lag putting outside of 20' and aim with scoring clubs (8-GW)

I have a pretty good sense of my distances with my clubs

I generally read a putt correctly (although sometimes I over or under estimate a break) and inside of 15' my lag putts are usually pretty good, but those longer lag putts always throw me off, I end up pushing the ball with the longer back stroke, or I get afraid of blasting it over and leave it short.

On shots between 100 and 140 yards I feel like provided I put a good swing on the ball I should be on the green (or close enough to get up and down). But often times I find the ball just goes right or left and after I am done, I take another swing and see that is how I aimed the ball.

anything I can try at the course or on the range to work on resolving these issues?

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

you can't practice putting indoors into a screen. You do the math.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

Exactly. If you want to work on putting you can always practice on a chipping/putting green before you play. Scoring clubs will improve your score even if you're an average putter.

Go with the aiming. You can do alot of putting work by yourself. Not worth the session just to work on putting. But hey it's up to you.
