Most underrated golf company?

What company makes good products yet gets no love? My vote goes to adams golf and srixon.

MacGregor. Very sad to see this company struggle and be sold off to Golfsmith. Some of the greats swung their sticks.

Wilson Staff and Adams get my vote.

Wilson, within the Staff line, has made good irons for the last several years, although they have not done as well with their hybrids and woods. They also have the new TW wedge that has gotten good reviews.

Adams has such a reputation as making clubs only for old guys (a rep not helped by the fact so may Champions Tour players endorse them), but really make great clubs now for people of all levels. I know several pros are now playing their new Pro line (Pro Black maybe???) and I was really impressed with their Idea Pro and Idea Pro Gold sets. And for the hacker the A# line really does the job of helping average to bad players play better. Their hybrids are still among the best lines sold and now they are finally making some woods that are getting some positive reviews in the Speedline series (at least the drivers - not so sure about the woods).

Yeah those pro black irons look nice. I was at the greensboro tournament yesterday and john daly was playing those.

One more vote for Bridgestone. Their whole set from top to bottom is pretty awesome now. I like how they are a newer company but at the same time they seem to make more traditional and "timeless" (in my opinion) style of clubs. The J33R is my favorite driver that is out right now.

i think there are alot of smaller companies out there.

Miura, KZG, Integra, Bang Golf, Geek Golf just to name a few.

These companies all make excellent products and because they don't advertise people have never heard of them.

Miura and KZG make excellent forged irons
Integra, Bang Golf, and Geek Golf all make excellent drivers and wood heads that are very well respected, but generally are only available on the internet.

Good call. Most of the other suggestions are hardly underrated, when they are internationally well known.

I'd like to add Benross (lovely hybrids - I game the V6 trimass Escapes) for their woods, and MD Golf for their wedges.

I agree. The B330-S and the E5+ are my two favorite balls....aside from my new main squeeze, the ProV1.

I wouldn't call companies like Miura and Scratch underrated personally. Although they're not well known they have reputations as makers of high-end, high-quality clubs. They're boutique manufacturers known for their quality but out of the price range for the average golfer.

In my opinion underrated companies are those that have a stigma attached to them that they make crap clubs or "old man clubs" but actually have some really good stuff like Adams and Wilson Staff.
