Hello. I have this big problem... I've been pushing puts has of lately, and if I have a straight putt, it will go past the hole 3-4 inches outside right if I m aiming to the middle of the cup. I've tried everything, form getting my eyes more over the ball, to gripping the putter more with my fingers rather than more in the palm of my hand.

I'm getting pretty frustrated and neither me nor my golf coach can firuge out what is wrong with hit.

If you have any advice lying around in your head that would help me, that would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You want to grip the putter on the lifeline and not the finger of your hand.

have someone stand behind you and watch you putt a straight putt, it should be very easy to see what you are doing to cause your putts to be pushed.

try the following:

1) slight forward press
2) keep the putter low on the backswing
3) is your putting style square to square or curved?
4) try to have a slight pause at the very end of your backswing before you start the forward stroke.
5) keep the triangle in your shoulder and arms
6) rock with your shoulders
7) go meditate and take yoga.
8) go see a shrink

Check your alignment, it may just be a tendancy of your to line up right. Shorten up your back stroke, the shorter I can move the blade back the bigger the hole looks. Also, you may try sacrificing a goat, changing religions, have Benny Hinn cast the demons out of your putter, or putt left handed.

Once you are getting the ball to roll end over end, putting is all confidence and feel. You may try just camping out at golf smith amogst their thousands of putters for a day and pick you a new one. Thats what I do when my putter gets funky.

I am happy to say I am currently in a long term relationship with a white hot Odyssey and things are going great.
